VISION PROTECTION FROM THE YOUNGEST AGE
Playing outside is an essential part of childhood, but it also puts kids more at risk of the eye-damaging effects of UV exposure than adults. Combine Transitions® Light Intelligent Lenses™ with Eyezen+ enhanced single vision lenses for the most comprehensive defense against UV and digital eye strain. Add Crizal Prevencia® coating and boost blue-violet light protection even more.

Controlling Myopia
Myopia in children usually shows between the ages of 8 and 12. Complaints of headaches, an inability to focus, and difficulty seeing things on the whiteboard in the classroom are all signs of near-sightedness.

Essilor introduces Myopilux®, the specialised prescription lens that helps correct far vision and reduces strain for near vision. Myopilux corrects and controls myopia at the same time. Myopilux slows down myopia progression by up to 51%.*

Offering 100% UV protection, Airwear lenses are the ultimate choice for every kid’s lifestyle. Combine Airwear with Crizal, our scratch-resistant lenses, for the ultimate in unbreakable glasses for kids.

KID EYE EXAMS: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
A comprehensive eye exam at your child's optometrist provides a more thorough evaluation than what’s available at school vision screenings. Children should have their first eye exam at 6 months of age, with additional eye exams at age 3 and right before they enter first grade. School-aged children should have an eye exam annually or as recommended by your eye doctor if they need vision correction, and at least once every two years if they don’t. Get started by finding a kids’ eye doctor near you. In the meantime, our handy kids’ vision guide provides plenty of information for you while giving them lots of fun things to do in the waiting room.
